EMPORIA 48 Amp Level 2 EV Charging with Access Control

The Emporia EV Charger with ProControl is a charging solution ideal for businesses, buildings, condos, rentals, and fleets that want to provide access controlled EV charging to their employees, tenants, guests, and customers. The Emporia EV Charger is NEMA Type 4 rated for both indoor and outdoor use. It comes with a sign with a 5-digit charge code, mounting hardware, and a 24’ cable with an SAE J1772 connector so it works with all electric cars. ProControl is secure, online service that allows administrators to easily add or remove drivers, control access to specific chargers, and download relevant data for billing or reconciliation purposes.

UL and ENERGY STAR CERTIFIED LEVEL 2 EV CHARGER. DEFAULT CHARGE RATE is 40A. WiFi Internet connection is required to raise or lower charge rate. Pair with an Emporia Vue Smart Home Energy Monitor to automatically charge only with excess solar power and curb charging during peak demand.

UL Listed with your safety in mind. Manufactured to meet the safety criteria defined by these industry standards: NEC 625, SAE J1772, UL 817, UL 991, UL 2231, UL 2251, and UL 2594. INSTALLS INDOORS OR OUTDOORS. Your charger will be safe from the elements with a rugged watertight NEMA Type 4 enclosure. PROTECTED BY A 3-YEAR WARRANTY.

HARDWIRED OR PLUGGED INSTALLATION - 11.5kW (240V/48A) / 9.6kW (240V/40A) / 10kW (208V/48A) / 8.3kW (208V/40A) (up to 48A hardwired or up to 40A NEMA Type 14-50P with 24" cable compliant with 2017 NEC Section 625.17(A)(3)). Requires a dual-pole, dedicated breaker at 60A+ for a 48A charge or 50A+ for a 40A charge. A professional electrician is recommended for hardwiring or installing a NEMA Plug.

COMPATIBLE WITH ANY EV. The charger comes with a SAE J1772 connector (adapter required for Tesla EVs) and a 24' cable with integrated cable management.

REAL-TIME ENERGY DATA: REQUIRES 2.4 GHz WIFI WITH AN INTERNET CONNECTION to monitor energy use and charging sessions with iPhone / Android / Web Browser app. Schedule charging with app. Easily manage the parameters to handle variable utility rate charges.

QUALIFIES FOR REBATES AND INCENTIVES. Qualifies for Federal alternative fuel tax credit for 30% of the cost of the charger and installation (up to $1,000). Your state, province, or local utility may also offer rebates and incentives. Find out if you qualify for additional United States incentives. Consult your tax professional for more information.

Can I qualify for free shipping?

You can qualify for free ground shipping on some orders depending on current offers or promotions. If an item does not qualify for free shipping, you will be notified at or before checkout. The following attributes may disqualify an item for free shipping eligibility:

Why is ground shipping the only method available for order?

Due to federal transportation and shipping regulations and shipping carrier policy, some items are restricted to ground methods for home delivery.

Why is freight shipping the only method available for order?

Some items due to their size, weight, dimensions, or special handling requirements are only available to be shipped via freight.

Addresses

Can I have my order shipped to a location outside of the United States?

Evuniverse.com ships only to locations within the 50 United States. Shipment outside of the United States is not offered.

Can I have my order shipped to a different address than my home address?

Yes, you can enter a different shipping address during the checkout process.

Can I have parts shipped to an APO or FPO address?

EV Universe Inc. does not currently offer shipping to APO or FPO addresses or to any of the U.S Territories.

Can I have parts delivered to a PO Box?

Currently, all shipping from Evuniverse.com cannot be delivered to Post Office boxes. A physical street address is required.

Delivery Times

When will I get my order?

All delivery dates shown on the site are estimates; it is not possible to guarantee a delivery date. Generally, when an order is shipped via Standard Ground, your order will arrive in 3 to 5 days (excluding weekends and holidays). The email you received confirming your shipment contains a link to tracking.
